Summer On-Campus & Online Resources

Summer Session is right around the corner and you should know that while access to on-campus resources might look a bit different from Fall and Spring Semesters, many offices and departments will still be open with adjusted hours to provide you support services as you complete summer coursework. A full list of on-campus resources can be accessed right here on Campus Well.

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm throughout the summer to support St. Kate’s students. You are eligible to use counseling services (sessions will continue to be held remotely) if you are registered and enrolled in summer classes at St. Kate’s. Let’s Talk and ProtoCall (our 24/7/365 telephone crisis line) will continue to be available to all students throughout the summer (no need to be registered for summer classes). The summer appointment request form will be available on our webpage starting Wednesday, June 2. St. Kate’s Food Shelf

The Food Shelf is open on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 12–6 p.m. and is located in the Carondelet Center Kitchen, on the CSJ campus across from The O’Shaughnessy. If the food shelf’s open hours do not accommodate your availability, please reach out to [email protected] to arrange a pick-up time that works with your schedule. Any St. Kate’s Community member is welcome to use the food shelf, and create a bag of groceries that serves their needs. We offer fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, and an assortment of other foods that will provide a balanced diet.

Beginning June 1, the facility, including the gyms, cardio area, group fitness studio, weight rooms, and locker rooms will be available to all students, faculty, and staff. The pool will reopen on June 7. 

 

Advance reservations will no longer be required, however:

  • Masks must be worn at all times (except when swimming) regardless of vaccination status. 
  • Please maintain six-feet social distancing.
  • Your St. Kate’s ID will be needed to enter the building.
  • You will need to show your Daily Symptom Screening verification upon arrival.
  • Guests are not allowed at this time.

General Facility Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Sunday: closed

Pool (beginning June 7)

The pool will be open for one lap swim time each day. Hours will be posted here soon. 

 

Health and Wellness Clinic

The Health and Wellness Clinic will be open from 9:00am-2:00pm Tuesdays and Thursdays during the Summer Session. All patients need to schedule an appointment to be seen. Please have your health insurance information available when scheduling your appointment. Patients can schedule an appointment online via the patient portal, or by calling the clinic at 651-690-6714. When arriving at the clinic for your appointment, please use the intercom system to contact the front desk.

 

COVID-19 saliva PCR tests are available on campus for faculty, staff, and students. These tests are currently administered in the Health and Wellness Clinic.

Access and Success Summer 2021 hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm, with virtual student meetings available Monday-Friday by appointment.

 

Access and Success offers support and programs to meet the needs of students who are parenting, or any student who is facing a basic needs emergency impacting their ability to access food, housing, medical care, child care, transportation etc. All students are welcome to contact the program for questions. Any student who is raising a child is encouraged to meet with a staff social worker to learn more about services specific to students raising children.
